VanLife Gift Suggestions

Here are product links to gifts starting from under £10 that we share in our video.

At just a few pounds, this novelty item brings a bit of magic to a campfire
Just throw a sachet of Mystical Fire on the fire and watch the flames change colour.

Having got this TF Gear Toaster Grill as a cheaper alternative to the Ridge Monkey we’ve been really impressed with it and have found more uses than we expected.  With a campfire it is a nice easy way to cook without having to worry too much about the flames charing the food.
From toasties to chips, a full breakfast to Chocolate banana’s  not only is it great on the fire, when cooking on the hob it keeps control of any splatter. The non stick coating makes it easy to use and clean and seems to be holding up well in use.

If you know a coffee aficionado, off grid coffee making may be something you can help with.
This portable espresso machine goes a long way to enjoying a better coffee.

A dashcam is a great gift for any campervan user - not only can it assist with any accident challenges it can also be used to document journeys.  This is the one we use and we think its great.

If the VanLife person in your life hasn’t got a way to enjoy a nice cosy campfire - I’m sure they will love this Grilliput Portable Folding Fire Bowl  as a gift.

For those with longer hair and who hair straighteners are something they can’t do with out. These USB rechargeable hair straighteners - do a pretty good job for the price.
They are not going to replace a set of GHDs but as an off grid and easily charged alternative, they are better then the gas powered ones you can get.

You will definitely have got someone an amazing gift, when they use this Jump Start Pack for the first time to get their van started.
Its also a great back up to have for charging phones and other accessories, we use ours to power our mini projector away from the van.

'Not everyone wants a MiFi, some prefer to hotspot off their phone or stay away from the online world.  We use ours to have the choice of another network to our phones and we can position it to get a better signal than a phone.
We find this low cost 4G MiFi plenty for us - but there are others available if you want to spend a bit more for more features.  Either way - it's a great gift.

A bluetooth speaker is a great addition to a van and makes a great gift.  Theres a wide range of quality of cost, we love our Bose Soundlink Mini as it’s compact charges from 12v and the quality is fantastic.

If you are looking to be a bit more extravagant - why not treat someone to a new form of transport.    This Electric Folding Scooter is great for nipping around the campsite, to the beach or to the shops.
Bear in mind that technically in the UK it is not currently legal to ride these on public roads or footpaths, although, as this one is so discrete and looks very like an unpowered scooter I doubt you’d have any problems (we never have), unless you cause an accident or are antisocial.  Across mainland Europe they are legal  in many countries and a great form of transport.
